Cement and mixed media on panel 86x70 each side. Commissioned for The Mercer Building, Walnut Creek, CA and installed May 2008. The title is from the Walt Whitman poem, "There was a child went forth".

Public commission installed November 2008, Santa Rosa, CA. 38x17ft. Piece based on satellite views of the Santa Rosa farmland with passing birds. Cut, grouted, blasted and colored concrete pavers inset into a public sidewalk. Commissioned by the City of Santa Rosa and Simon Property Group.
